Well, you guys got me to order these suckers.. i have a 85watt per channel zeus amp, be brutally honest is that enough to get these suckers going or should i bridge them to 2 channel and put double that to them? or will that make sq go down el draino? thanks a lot..

My set is coming Wednesday, I plan on running them with a JL 300/2. They are highly regarded for how much they cost. I hope they are as good as everyone else says they are.

as long as the install is good, (i mean deadened and sealed doors and enough power with the gains set right) you will love them. i think they sound amazing, and my goal with my system is SQ on a budget, but loud SQ. they seem to fit the bill very well.

do you want to run 4 speakers or just fronts?

if just fronts then bridge the amp. what kind of power does it claim to do bridged at 4 ohms?

it says 340rms but i think thats bullshit. If i can run mmc570's off the deck power and at least have them decent without distortion for rear fill id birdge, i have a pioneer 4900ib 22rms do you think it would sound decent for rear fill? or would they distort?

my set is only getting about 80rms....they sound good but not as good as they could sound. bridge your amp and set they gains to give about 120 wrms per side or so
