PG BassCube??

I have one that I had installed back in the day to help out my Kicker ZR360 and I was wondering..do these still help new amps that have "bass boost" and "EQ's" built into them?

I'm looking to get a Kicker ZX1000.1 and needing to know if this would help the over all bass or make it worse?

ps- I can't remember if this thing messes up the output voltage coming out of the HU and makes it weaker (I don't want to have to add a line driver to pump up the signal).

Thoughts?

I know it helped that old set up back in the day..cleaned it up real nice.

I was just wondering since new amps already have options like this built into them if running a basscube on top of that will help or not.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have the PG bass cube and I like the option to metering my bass so to speak depending on different songs or different cd's that sound muddy from back in the day.
