I think we should get a PETA member named Phil to play the role. Keep him in a cage all year and constantly terrorize him. We'll see if he comes out of the cage once per year to see his shadow.

The people of PETA are hypocrites of the worst sort. They live in a world that feeds of using animals and the environment, as nature has done to itself forever, while claiming everyone but them are in the wrong. We cant use animals to make things, because its cruel. We cant use plastics or man-made rubbers to make things because it pollutes the environment. Id like to see those PETA people and tree huggers live in the world they long for, and see how much they liked it. Conservation is one thing, I agree we need to keep it in mind, but we also need to keep it in perspective. People like PETA and GreenPeace are as far out of perspective as are big-business people who thrive off large pollution and/or raping the environment.

PETA claims they save alot of animals from unethical treatment but they actually euthanize more animals every year than they save.

I remember watching a documentary on PETA last year where they talked about PETA buying a huge freezer to store dead animals that they "saved" , and they also think people shouldn't have any pets, at all. At one of their conventions they had a guest speaker from ALF, the Animal Liberation Front. The ALF is on a government list of domestic terrorist organizations here in America, the guy that PETA had for a speaker is actually on the FBI's most wanted list for taking part in fire bombings of car dealerships and houses being build in wooded areas. The problem is, too many people see a problem, and think heading in the other direction to extremes is a positive. Two opposing extremisms will not lead to progress in either direction, and generally leaves the rest of us feeling like there is no point taking a stand on either side.

I can see abuse against animals that are pets, ( Basically any home pet you could have ) being wrong and them stepping in and getting their word in.. But these weiros are in a cult.. They went off on the **** president for swatting a fly!!!/? really?? And this vid of the bat.. Come on ppl these arent house hold pets, let nature take its course and just stfu

To me . they would be good people if they werent to the extreme.. I can see abuse against animals that are pets, ( Basically any home pet you could have ) being wrong and them stepping in and getting their word in.. But these weiros are in a cult.. So we justify whether something is right or wrong based on our proximity to the animals?

As ridiculous as some PETA behaviour is, equally ridiculous are the broad-brush, hyperbolic attacks in this thread, some suggesting that we should kill other animals (including humans) as some sick way of proving a point.

I must have missed the one where it was said that animals and humans should be killed to make a point. PETA are nothing more than a bunch of brainwashed cultists. That scary looking chick that runs it is screwed up in the head. She says that nobody should own pets, that its wrong and that everyone needs to release their pets back to the wild. She says that animal shelters need to be shutdown, cause they are bad and hurt animals. How many of her PETA lemmings own a pet? A lot of them I'm sure. Releasing all your pets to the wild, and closing down all animal shelters??? Thats just insane. From PETA's stance on things, nobody should step in the way of an animal and animals should have free roam of the entire planet without any interference from humans. Guess we'd all have to stop driving cars, so we wouldn't run over a "wild" hamster while driving, lol, what a friggin joke they are.
