i specifically asked you if it was the "5 minute epoxy" from walmart, or the stuff that said it was for marine purposes, and you said the 5 minute epoxy. had 2 recones have the spider to basket come loose after a day or two, before i got the bob smith ic-3000 black rubberized CA glue. used that on the spider-basket, surround, and dustcap, and its still going strong.

luckily the 5 minute shit sucked so bad, i was able to just pull the surround back up even after 2 days of drying with my fingers alone, and saved having to buy another recone. first time, i already had the dustcap on and had to cut that back off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

yes, i do know how to rough up + clean metal and soft material to allow glue to soak in and adhere better, and did so in both cases.

you can get it at most any R/C hobby shop, they use it as tire glue. was IC-2000 i meant, not 3000.

better not be a btl or bl . yeah it would work but when i do recones i use a good brand with a activator. ive used that 5 min epoxy on dust caps but not on the spider to basket. but its them . what woofers do they use that epoxy on?
