people with suv's

I took it as if it was another bend in the port now going across the front of the box. When I read it, thats the impression I got.

Now if the port ran across the box from wheel well to wheel well, I couldn't see it NOT being feasible.

Amen to the port up comment. It is terrible. Subs up, port back.

i have a very useless skill that for some reason no matter how i explain things no one get them. i mean no one. friends ask me all the time "what the **** are you talkin about?"

dvrmstrng: ok yea i think ill try to stick with that.

Meh. Its no big deal, I understand you now. I'm just glad we're on the same page and everyone could actually have a decent discussion without people blowing up and crap.

That wont happen as long as I am here.

So George, do you prefer the sub firing up in the suv as opposed to the rear?

the only time ive had a sub firing to the rear was a 12" mag. everything else has been sub up and port back.

i borrowed a friends 15" xxx which is port and sub back and messed with it a little bit. i faced the sub and port up and the output just wasnt there. it was drastically different. but when i did it port back and sub back it was noticeably better.

i havent really been able to tell a difference between sub up/port back and sub and port back. either one works well.

edit: and my farts smell like pastrami....

No kiddin', at times I had forgot I was still on CA.

I'm in the same boat though George. I could never tell a difference between port and sub back or sub up port back. Sounded the same in my Explorer.

supposedly sub up port back is louder, but i am assuming people mean on the meter, and that its probably like .5db difference or something similar thats not noticeable to the ear.
