buy the latex backed...the regular doesn't cut as well as the backed or even the unback charcoal. I don't know why the unbacked charcoal cuts better but it does

You HAVE to have a really sharp razor blade for any of that carpet. It cuts like butter if you have a good razor, and its a ***** to cut if you dont have a good razor.

I prefer the unbacked. you just need a new, sharp blade
