doubt they stole it to sell it. if you want it found i'd check with some local muffler shops and see if anyone has brought in a used cat for that make and model. bound to come up with something.

well, i dont believe it was welded on, we bought this truck 2 years ago and never bothered to check as there was never a problem with it. It looked like it was only bolted on because there were bolts on the ground with some gaskets and the bolts looked cut.

where do you live? a cat is kind of a weird thing to steal. you live in cali? i know the emmisions laws there are crazy and someone probly needed a cat to pass the emission test.

I seen a segment about people doing this on the news the other day. I guess they steal them for the platinum inside.

Right out of in front of his house. That makes me wonder if its only those Toyota pickups that have the platinum in them.
