people in metro atlanta...got a question

I commute from cartersville to marietta everyday for college, and I cant stand sitting in traffic for 15-20 minutes everyday. What time does traffic start to clog up. I usually leave for class at 8 and get there at 8:45, but I was thinking that maybe Id be better off leaving between 6:00-7:00 and do homework or go to the gym during that time. Any insight?

yeah, I just dont want to leave early and still get stuck in traffic

i take 400 to the south end of 285 and back every day. there's minimal traffic around 5-7am. on the ride home it doesn't get bad until 4pm.
