You're stopped at a stop light. Coming up in the other lane (from behind you, going in your direction) is...

a) a car...which will stop 2 feet behind your face so you can't seem them & vice versa. mainly white ladies (20s+)...You know, sitting upright, staring straight ahead, trying very hard not to look to the side, hands at 10 & 2, seat belt, etc. Usually roll up their windows on approach.

- when the light turns green...match their speed & drive parallel while staring

b) a car...with a guy in his teens or 20s who'll turn up his shitty radio and put one hand on the top of the steering wheel and lean to the back & to the side and give you the "I'm stuntin' " look.

- when the light turns green...shake your head in disgrace

c) a car...with an asian or hispanic guy with a noticably loud exhaust who wants to race and revs his engine while looking straight ahead.

- when the light turns green...shake your head in disgrace...and let him speed the f*ck off for no reason.

d) a car...with a white or foreign guy playing some techno who drives like there's no tomorrow & stops from 40mph to 0mph in 1 second.

- when the light turns green...shake your head in disgrace

e) a cab who'll stop in the middle of the **** intersection and yet he steadily eases into the intersection more.

- when the light turns green...shake your head in disgrace

or maybe it's just me.

Anybody ever do this on scenario a)

- Put the car in reverse & back up 2 feet just so you see them and once you see their face you put it in drive & go back to where you were?

They're already looking at you since you're backing up & they're trying to see what you're doing!

Why do you feal the need to look at other people in there car. Does it make you feel powerfull that you look at them???

Why not just concentrate on driving. and try to not turn driving in to a social event...

There indicates a place (Go sit over there).

Their is possessive (It's their car, they can do as they please).

Yup. You got me. I feel powerful knowing that I have the ability to look at people...

You're at a stop light! There's no concentration going on except waiting for the light to turn green...and anybody with peripheral vision doesn't have to be looking straight ahead to notice a drastic change of light from red to green.

Turning driving into a social event...you can't be serious! If you think driving is only about getting from point A to point B, where the hell have you been or what planet do you live on?!
