PDX-1.1000 or MRD-M1005 ?

which amp out of these two is better for a single 15'' type R @ 4ohm ?

I run a mrd m 1005 to a single 15 type R and it wangs plenty loud. I have Built my own enclosure for it @ 3.5 cu.ft Ported. i am Happy with it. Get's Loud and sounds good too.

i do believe they are both alpine lol. the pdx is the new and improved one. it is underrated by i think 15 watt's. had a great review in car audio mag...good clean power and a small footprint. one of the smallest true 1000 watt amp's ive seen

if you've got a lot of money, and just want the latest greatest toy, the PDX is your amp.

If power/dollar is you thing the 1005 will do everything the pdx will do.

OMG I can't believe I didn't notice. well what I kinda meant to say I guess is, go with the MRD. I don't have any experience with the pdx line, although, most people seem to like them. Either way you cannot lose. I will say though, at onlinecarstereo.com I think the MRD is substantially lower in price.

you wont be disapointed. i owned the pdx1.1000 and loved it. but i needed money so it went by-bye:crap: but i do have to say i like powerbass asa amp's better. they are real ***:yumyum:

Ya, but for the size that the alpines are its pretty hard to beat.

my amp, does 1099w rms @ 2 ohms, pound for pound and dollar for dollar i would go mrd- m1005
