They came out with the patch from MS like in October. So if everyone does regular updates, you should be good.

some punk as MIT student wants to fvck with peeps so he creates this un-seamingly "Smart" worm that has scheduled to launch on april 1st. What will the worm do? I believe nothing!! Its creator is trying to prove a point, and or trying to c how much of an uproar the world can be sent into when they realize their "Beloved" computer may IMPLODE!

This whole SCARE is quite amusing. The creator is getting exactly what he wanted. Every Human to converse about what MAY happen and freak out.

Seriously Why would someone create a worm or virus that is so sophisticated it has already been identified? the whole point of a virus is to sneak into a computer and fvck it up..

its funny how people think this sort of worm/virus/trojan is going to end life. Its just a computer virus lol.

I am not worrying at all its a win win situation for me. If it dose infect I will have plenty of business and if it dosent I dont have to worry abut it either way I to have a mac.

eh i updated all my stuff that doesn't normally update, spyware search and destory and ad-aware lol... everything else is good.

symantec also has a tool you can dl to scan for the viruses and remove them

for the mac users:

why are there less known viruses for mac?

because PC's are that much better. Hackers have no reason the fvck with mac users. How many company's that deal with High dollars are set up with Mac computers? exactly. furthermore if company's switch to using mac's the more hackers will begin to create viruses for Mac's.

very true. what happens when you need to plug into the network again? if a co-workers computer is infected it will simply attack yours through that network connection. this is all hypothetical speaking thou. haha
