PayPal cheating?

..and get over the fees. They're allowing you to pass money via them and insuring it. Pay their fee or send as gift w/out insurance. Simple.
"Allowing" .... lmao

Not quite.

I don't mind paying their fee IF the money I am sending is via credit card. It is when it is MY money, echeck'd from my bank and placed into my PayPal account (where they can "freeze" it, if they choose), that they are deducting the same fee on that causes my heartburn.

(Sure as hell wasn't the way they originally did biz, when they only charged for using a credit card)

You can call it paying them for "insuring" the transaction if you want, still doesn't begin to justify the practice in my mind... especially when they cover a max of $200, but charge the fee on every penny above that amount.

But thanks for your point of view...now go collect your nutkissing fee from PayPal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

They have always took their money wether it was a transaction using my bank account or a paypal balance. Not sure why you thought otherwise...
They most certainly did not always assess their 3% fee on payments sent from a positive account balance.

I think PayPal is like the money changers at the Temple, and some of u stupid sonsabitches better hope Jesus comes back to cure the dumb and the blind again soon.

Trying to communicate with you, Mitch, is prolly similar to a fcking a greasy cueball: whole lotta work, and not much satisfaction.

Ur a fcking idiot, so lift up the rock and drag ur ignorant azz back under it.... and stfu

You forgot to bold the "or paypal balance" directly after the part you put in bold. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif If they haven't always taken fees for using a paypal balance then I've been getting ripped off for 6-7 years because they've always taken them when paying for "services or goods" just like they told you they do. Maybe its hard for you to communicate because you have your head up you ass and don't read others messages.

I never thought about the interest thing. There is no reason to hold a persons money for almost an entire month. They did that to me and I almost chit a rock. Yes, we need an alternative. They probably do hold the money until there bank's interest periodthan release it. How are they protecting you by keeping you broke? My own bank won't do that

Said the pot to the kettle.
Go back and read my first post, you cod lapping schmuck
What do you not understand about what I'm telling you? You paid for "goods" using paypal, they take fees for that. It does not matter if you are using a paypal balance or not. This is what I'm trying to explain to you because you said in your original post that they do not take fees if you use a positive paypal balance. The only way around that is sending as a gift which voids any protection provided by paypal. For some reason you're. Only taking in half of my post and then trying to make me look like the idiot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
