Never seen Oakie live - but I have a few of his CDs and I like him fine.

We rarely get good concerts here as until fairly recently we didn't have a venue worth a fvck. (the acoustics in the old concert venue were terrible)

i've never seen him live, but the best way to listen to that music (no lie) is be as UNSOBER as possible

yea....when you find people that are crazy into it and are 100% sober, there's just something wrong with them. if you've ever met any relatively big DJs, they're usually pretty weird because they all used to do so many drugs. oakie was a freakin WEIRDO when i met him

lol. I dont care what you think about me or anyone/anything else. My first statement in this thread whs not directed to you personally, so yes, I made a general statement. The fact of the matter is that I chose to let it be known that I dont like Paul Oakenfold. lol. I could sit here and name drop producers and djs with you all day long, but that would prove nothing. If you really want to talk music you can find me sitting in the back, away from the 15 year old pseudo anti-pop culture e-puddle.

Kentucky is my home, but that doesnt mean I haven't dj-ed or played live in other cities and states. I just happen to love the people here and I want to bring them good music, and I have the resources to do so. Is that a crime?
