patch cable for straping 2 amps

hi guys, i need to strap 2 q1-3000d amps,i just found out that phone cables dont fit , it only needs 4 strad cable and the normal phone cable has for 6 strands, i just want to get te order of those strands to make my own 4 strand cable

the one in red is the one i need

Think most amps that come with a sub control have a cable just like that

sound stream bass nobs use the same plug... The plug is called a RJ-11 connector.... I believe that they are used for analog telephones.

Yay for Planet Audio amps. Don't know which one the Q1-3000D is, but I do have a strapping cable for my RXD-2400 which I'm not using.

sent an email to tech support on kole audio and this is the resp. i got

"The cable is a 4 pin telephone cable. Any cable can be used, it does not need to be our specific cable. I have also attached the owner manual , see page 9 for a diagram of how to wire the amps in strapped mode. Keep in mind, the amplifier can see only a 2 ohm load. ANY LOAD LESS THAN 2 WILL FRY BOTH AMPS INSTANTLY!"

Why would you send an email to Kole Audio? Just call Planet Audio, but you can buy a cord from probably like Wal-Mart. If not, Best Buy or Home Depot is sure to have it. I think it's a joke that it'll "fry both amps instantly" running it at 1 ohm is equivalent to running each amp at .5 ohms and it's not recommended but it should handle it. If I find my camera I will send a pic.

its just a phone cord. seriously.

a picture is going to show an rj-11 connector with the same colors in the same orientation at the ends..

If I find it it might also say "Planet Audio" on the cord even!
