part time job

work in an assisted living. Easy work, and very flexible with hours.

Its not a nursing home, so one of the admission requirements is that the people don't crap their pants = no poop ftw.

I make $9.73, but i also work in a small town in bumblefuk SD (where my rent is $100 a month), so i bet you would make more in VA.

All i really do is pass out some medication, help someone up off the floor once in a while, make doctors appointments, order meds from the pharmacy... shit like that.. very easy and lots of free time to study.

ever look into customer service/sales/telemarketing over the phone? Make about the same starting wages or more... pretty flexible hours for college students, most that I have worked for anyways. Most call center jobs are either found through a web site or a employment service company.

howd you find out about a job like that? im sure theres a lot of jobs like that around here that pay pretty good, i just have no idea about.
You just find go in and apply. Places that operate 24/7 are always taking apps and looking for people, because people are always calling in sick and taking vacations. Just go in and fill out an application, dress nice and be nice to the residents.

i know theres a place similar to what you work at faulkton like 1/2 mile from my house, but i think its a full on nursing home which would = poopy pants.

the place i work is attached to a full nursing home, but i only work in the AL.

Another pretty easy job is in a nursing home kitchen, usually easy and ok pay, but no homework time.

bussing tables at a restaurant where bussers get tipped out by the servers = 6.50/hr + tips = at least $10 an hour, usually more around 14/15 an hour. Busy work, but not difficult.

Yeah, I worked as a busser for a while at a country club and made bank. Not terribly hard but definitely repetitive and stressful.

Some nice restaurants might do events and banquets (like wedding receptions) which you could just work like one a weekend. I made between $150-350 in a few hours. Mostly just setup, too.
