My mom went to move my car, got startled by the volume being somewhat high and now she blames every accident I have ever had on being "dissoriented" by loud music.

My mom doesn't mind a whole lot. She just asks I keep it down at night and to not piss off the neighbors.

If my dad were still alive, I think he'd help me, but not like the money being spent on it.

Ah, and forgot to mention, my buddies and cousin, we could be causing trouble like we used to, but we don't now. Why? Because we're USUALLY working on our cars. Expensive hobby? Yes. But there are WAY worse things I could be doing with my time.

my parents dont care. my dad had a system WAY back in the day, untill my mom broke a 6 pack on his equalizer and fried all his stuff. he paid like 1000 for his system back then....

My dad was the same way, probably been about 15 years since I first pulled the radio out of my corsica put in a pullout alpine and a nice urban audioworks amp and pyramid 10".

He used to mostly get pissed about the sloppy installs I did but now does not say anything because he knows I am on my own and pay all my bills etc.

So don't worry guys, your parents will see the 'light' someday and quit harping.. the only problem is you will probably have a wife that *****es about it then so enjoy the inbetween time.

I got a felony for CCW when I was 18, had a pretty bad drug problem too.

I've got over it and the felony is about to come off my record.

My parents couldn't care less that I have 2 18's, they're just happy I'm on the right track amd still alive.

I'm also 23, so if my dad's being a prick to me, I let him know I don't appreciate it and that's that.

luckily, both of my parents are in love with music...it has always been around in my house since the day i was born, every single room, always on in the car, everything is always music with my parents. so when i throw shit into my car to make the music sound better, they support it and like it. They dont mind the money i spend on it cause its something i use almost everyday, unlike the paintball hobbie i had a little while back...i mustve spent 1200 bucks over a years time on all this paintball crap, just to never go again haha...and no i dont deal drugs, i just saved up b-day and holiday money, and had a job making 20 bucks a day 3 days a week...it adds up.
