What really turns me off about there subs is that **** single spider setup... I mean they use it on the WMD. WMD2 and the MOAB. I dont care how stiff it is or how many coats of whatever is on it. It will fail or just become so loose that the specs on the sub will be all over the place.. Anyone with any input about this spider setup Please PM me and let me know how it holds up after a couple months... Thanks

The WMD failed with less power than what they claim it can handle, and it failed in a relatively short period of time.

In summation: PAP=crap, but that's not really news to anybody.

Which they blamed that all on you, or well they blamed it on me lol not knowing that I had nothing to do with the tests. They said that the prob caused the failure.

personaly i have never delt with PAP but have heard horrible things and what alot of people dont know is that PAP manufactors cascade omega subs

Just to correct you, PAP had the first order of V1s to be assembled. That was it, as far as the contract between them and Cascade Designs goes.

Kinda hard to keep something like that secret when PAP posted pictures of them building the drivers on their forum.

Kinda unprofessional of a company to do that, don't you think?

Usually when an OEM company takes on that role they know better, the confusing part is they do it for a few companies but only felt the need to post the Omega.

I mean you will never seen Zenon put up pictures of them putting the same boards in different companies cases. Same with subwoofer companies that do this, but I would rather not start listing off companies, we all know they do it but it really ruins a reputation. Specially for someone starting out a company, to even hear that the parts picked and purchased by someone not associated with PAP, were assembled there just kills the reputation.

For the record... I didn't even know about PAP prior to this thread. I saw the WMD in another thread and it looked kind of... weak.

Is it true that there new MOAB design was stolen from one of your designs? Or is that a misunderstanding on the forum?
