Science is everything
Pap has done a lot of bashing on their forum about how my testing is in-accurate and absurd. They also blame me for all the 12" test results, which I took no part in lol.
So to help clear stuff up I joined their forum and posted this:
I totally understand and respect the decisions of companies like FI and Mach 5 not being present but the simple fact that the two owners talk bad about me behind my back is kinda low, I would love to see them show up to world finals this season.

Within a minute my thread was deleted, within two minutes my account was banned. Seems like they are afraid to face the truth after their sub performed poorly in the first test.Instead of closing something when you would rather not talk about it, how about you keep this open so we can discuss this more, I don't appreciate one sided arguements. Now that I am here, you guys can stop running to ridiculous conclusions with little to no knowledge of the actual experiment.
This may be a little over the head for most readers but I would like to go in depth on my testing so people like the Peirce's' understand what I am doing and what they are talking about.
Equipment:
Agilent MSO6052A 2+16 CH Mixed Signal O-scope
EMU 4141USB sound card
FLUKE OF-500-10 OptiFiber Multimode
2 USB (freshly calibrated) TL mics
Boxes:
All 1.5" thick (double 3/4"MDF)
2.5^3 @ 35hz
3.5^3 @ 35hz
4.5^3 @ 35hz
2.5^3 @ 40hz
3.5^3 @ 40hz
4.5^3 @ 40hz
2.5^3 @ 45hz
3.5^3 @ 45hz
4.5^3 @ 45hz
Test:
Using the EMU with ARTA software and O-scope I will be able to set each amp (during nominal load) to within about 5 watts of each subs RATED POWER. From there I will perform multiple burp tests with a range of frequencies, everything will be graphed on RTA. The bassrace runs will be held using a variety of three songs, Late-night tip/B*tches/Lollipop. Each song has its own range of frequencies that will help give a "good idea" as to which subwoofers perform better for 30 seconds at a set volume.
The first weeks test will be held in a Toyota 4runner, with three alternators and literally pallets of batteries from a sponsoring shop that is a stinger dealer, they hold no connections with any companies involved mind you. Testing will begin with all rated powers being run, then I will continue to increase in 100-500wrms increments for each sub. I will be using no probs that could cause any damage to any equipment as well.
Second weeks test will be held in a controlled facility called Alcan Industries, where I have access to a 2,000 cubic foot controlled temperature and humidity room, used in the past as a curing room. Each box will be placed in the center of the room on a three foot high stool with the TL on a mic stand roughly three feet off the ground. Room temperature will be set at 70 degrees Fahrenheit along with a 50% humidity.
I have worked to get the controls very set, all though they are not very realistic to consumers I would love to see you argue this. I have had this experiment built between recommendations from Mark from Mach 5, Steve from RD, JD from T3, Jacob from Sundown, Scott from Evo, Nick from FI, and a Dbdrag world final judge, which will be most likely be present during the test (Jeremy Weber).
Now I would love to hear from you guys as to how you feel that this experiment is "absurd". I have the most credible people in this sport working on it. Lets hear what PAP has to say? Also if any of you would like to talk to me directly, PM me and I will send you my number as I like to be very upfront and not talk behind others backs. Thank you.
