panasonic cd player skipping

when bass hits....i didnt know if i was my amp, subs, or HU..... i decided to go find out and it is my HU....i took it out and held it in my hand while i had the volume up loud and it didnt skip at all.....any suggestions for a cheap fix?

Or secure its mounting brackets to make sure its a snug fit in your dash. You can even use pieces of cardboard around it if you need to stop a small vibration, but make sure your HU can still breathe.
