Pair of subs on the cheap? Recomendations?

Ok guys since I got my rx7 now I'm going to be concentrating on the system in it, but I still want something decent in the colly. I have 600w at 4ohm to work with, space isn't a huge concern, it's an extended cab, but I would like to stick with 12's or under.

So far I'm Considering a pair of 12" RE RE series , I know they will get loud not sure how good they sound though. Only $110 shipped though.

I was also Consider trying on of the new V-max subs, Looks beefy and the last series of the v-max performed well.

Theres just a couple of the ones I'm kicking around. What others would you guys recommend?

How about a pair of Diamonds, if you are only going to throw 300 watts at them each then these should perform well. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2846

But being in Houston I'd think craigslist might be a really good way to go on the cheap. You should have alot to choose from there. Probably get some CVR10's or 12's for pretty cheap if you are cool with kicker. But those Diamonds, some cheap MB Quarts or maybe some OZ's.

ive seen people suggest the older reference series can take quite a beating. ive heard a pair of 10's before that were given around 300 a piece that got pretty loud and sounded good.

Those powerbass are some great little subs . Hard to beat for the money .
