Sold Pair of RE HC 12"s.......dual 2 coils

Seeing what I can get out of these.....

Subs are both dual 2, non **** cones.

I think one of them has a loose inner dustcap, I dont have the guts to cut the dustcap off and check it out. It is NOT blown, all coils are fine. The reason I think it has a problem, is at high volumes, it makes a strange sound. It could also be my box, as I have them in too small of a box at the moment.

If you dont know about these subs, it was RE's version of the SX, before the SX. RMS is 1200, they are known to take more.

Also regarded as "low end monsters."

hate to burst your bubble but yeah the SX is basiaccly an upgrade of this sub, hence selling all of teh HCs to bring in the SXs. SXs are louder and only a smudge clearer than the HCs but the HCs will go a tad lower.

Wasnt the HC phased out a while back. And i believe the SX was a more comerical product to replace dave's mut of a SExxx ?

The only bad thing about selling HC's, is alot of people base them off of what they went for when they last sold them, which was very cheap. When i sold my old pair ( i had the **** style) i barley got $250 for em (pair)

yeah i know, they are completely different subs, but this is what replaced the HC line and what most considered an "upgrade"
