If you don't know about the Infinity Perfect subwoofers, you are missing out. They are some of the deepest-reaching, most linear subwoofers for small enclosures. They just sound so good I don't think they get enough credit.

Here, we have a pair of the single 4-Ohm voice-coil 10"s, each in a separate, high-quality, custom .77 cu. ft. enclosure (12.5"x12.5"x12.5" 0.75" MDF), finished in automotive quality gray carpet, with nickel-plated binding posts, and resonation-damping material inside. Materials alone were expensive.

I will ship the pair out together in a very large (over-size) box. Shipping cost will be determined according to your address and added to the $200 price.

PayPal payment only please. PM me to determine shipping to your address and set up payment.

Thanks

They'll take the 500 Watts RMS in their current enclosure, as long as you're absolutely careful setting your input sensitivity to avoid any clipping.

But, as you mentioned, your amp is 500x2 @ 2 Ohm. No way to get 500 each, since these are 4 Ohm single VC each. They'll be very happy on 250 Watts. In fact, that's what I was feeding them on a previous install and holy cow they sounded good. Plus, you'll have more amplifier head-room which some would equate to greater sound quality and harmonics.

I feel, a comfortable sweet-spot is 400 W RMS un-clipped of real power (each -- and in sealed enclosure). It's not hard to find inexpensive amps that're either 4x100 @ 4 Ohm (400 RMS x2 bridged into 4 Ohm), or a mono sub amp that's 600 to 1000 RMS @ 2 Ohm. Just stay away from the cheap junk that over-rates their power, and you'll be doing great.

Any other questions, please feel free...

well my amp is 1000 watts bridged at 4 ohms and 2000 watts bridged at 2 ohm ... the amp has a very close rating to what they actually do have
Yea, running both subs there would only be 2 ways you could do it... either 250W x2 @ 4 Ohm or sharing 2000W x1 @ 2 Ohm. Neither is optimal. Buuuuuut.....

Your amp is 1 Ohm stable? (i.e. stable bridged into 2 Ohm???) If so, you could do that, no problem... just gain back your input sensitivity so it's feeding closer to 800 Watts bridged into 2 Ohm.

Wow, I actually can't believe it! Yea bud, your amp is (rated) 1 Ohm stable! Jeez, I would've lost that bet...

You can power these subs in parallel no problem. Just gain back (way back), like I mentioned, for ~800 Watts, and you should be great.

could ya show me a little diagram on how to wire it up?
Gimme some time to get a shipping quote. Putting the kid in the bath now...

Wiring them up is as simple as connecting every + to every + and every - to every - (parallel all the way down) on the speaker leads.

As for the sensitivity adjustment, there's a really good tutorial in the support section on JL Audio's site. Note: You'll want to back off on your gain even from that or you could over-power the woof's with your amp. Generically speaking I would guess your gain will be around a quarter of the way up, in order to feed these bad boys ~700-800 Watts RMS, according to the amp's rating, but don't take my word for it. Nothing is set in stone unless it's measured.

Lemme see what this package weighs and I'll get back to ya'...
