i built these for one of my cars and just sold it but the buyer did not want them and all my other cars have their systems complete so they are up for sale. t-nuts, 3/4" mdf framing, fiberglass, duraglass (including using it to fill the gap between the ring and the structure), a layer of 1/4" rubber carpet backing and finally professionally covered in vinyl that matched the interior of my car. each enclosure has approximately 1cf of airspace.

$265 shipped for both, local pickup in the cleveland area is preferred. cash, check or postal money order only, no paypal. if cash you can take it with you, if postal money order they will be shipped the next day, personal check will be held until it clears.

SPEAKERS AND AMP ARE NOT INCLUDED OR FOR SALE, TWO ENCLOSURES ONLY

Whats the material you're adding to it in the last 2 pics

i built these for one of my cars and just sold it but the buyer did not want them and all my other cars have their systems complete so they are up for sale. t-nuts, 3/4" mdf framing, fiberglass, duraglass (including using it to fill the gap between the ring and the structure), a layer of 1/4" rubber carpet backing and finally professionally covered in vinyl that matched the interior of my car. each enclosure has approximately 1cf of airspace.

it's commercial grade rubberized carpet padding. it's mainly used for high traffic areas like hallways and lobbies in place of conventional pad and is about the same consistency as a typical mouse pad. i still did a few fill and skim coats with duraglass but this saved me from having to use body filler and a lot of sanding. the end result was a perfectly smooth surface for the vinyl and makes it feel softer too!

3m super77 but you will still have a decent amount of sanding to do depending on the finish of the mat applied. the stuff is pliable but if you have waves or really uneven stuff you can't expect it to stay together.
