OK my bike got hit a few days ago so I'm gonna have it painted a new color soon. I don't have much $$$ to spend on this so I going to get a paint kit that comes with everyhting I need. Paint, reducer, hardener etc. But my question is about the paint being acrylic enamel. The bike is going to be painted in a garage in about 80 degree weather. A freind says the enamel paint will never completely dry in this hot weather. So I want to know from you guys, can I use enamel paint in hot weather?

yes if its the same as a cars kinda paint it should be warmer.

Yeah its car paint I'm using, so it should work right?

yes. when i painted my car during the winter i had to leave the heat on for a higher temp. now if you also have high humidity you dont want that. also that paint is not that great of quality so its not too noticeble when there are flaws.

AE is a lot harder to try that Base Coat Clear Coat, It will still dry, but may take longer. Worry more about humidity that heat.
