what kind of paint? i'm assuming since you're doing houses it's latex or some other water based?

mineral spirits for water based paints. or laquer thinner if it's really small, but if you put laquer thinner on a bigger water based paint spill, it will just coagulate and get really gummy and gel-like. best thing is to get some warm water or mineral spirits as soon as you can.

in my job during the autoshow season, we use a lot of latex and zolatone paint(really textured water based) and i've had to clean guns and pressure pots that have had paint on them in excess of a few days, and it's a bitch, but mineral spirits will usualy cover it. as I don't paint houses, i wouldn't really have experience with these kinds of paints getting on coarse concrete, just the smoothed out concrete that's usually in big industrial buildings.

summary: mineral spirits with the metal bristled toothbrushes

To be honest im not ever sure. Im brand new to painting, When i first get the paint its thick like pudding then i mix water into it to thin it out so it will be thin enough to go through the filter

get the wire wheel that you can put into a drill. That shit just grinds a little bit of the concrete away but seems to work pretty good. strain all your paint before you spray it. Always clean the filter in the sprayers and clean the gun everytime you use it. Dont let paint sit in the sun too long uncovered otherwise it is a pain in the *** to spray. Do not use blue tape it does not stick for crap and it is too expensive, use the cheap brown masking tape. Take the time to tape it off right, and only spray two colors. When you start doing two colors it is a pain in the ***.

If its latex paint a hotwater power washer will peel that shit right off. It will most likely work on water based paint also. but it has to be a hot water unit not just a regular pressure washer.
