Paintball newb

I know a few of you guys are paintballers so i thought this would be a good place to discuss,

I'm trying to get into paintball, never have played before and ive only shot some crappy walmart markers, so i want some opinions on what kind of marker would be good for a complete newb, also hopper and tank and any other gear you could recommend

I got a ION really easy to mod/fix. People are selling them all over for pretty good prices. Then a good size Air tank and hooper and your ready to go.

my room mate works and plays for dye so I would say the dye dm series as thats what the school team uses mostly. there a little pricy but it seems to be worth it. I use a auto cocker personally and love it to there a little more affordable
