Paint stripper (real question no noods)

Im about to take the paint off of my calipers and re do them with some G2 caliper paint.

I need to find the best way to take the old paint off.

Would paint stripper or air craft remover harm the rubber/plastic parts around the caliper? (hoses,pistons,etc)

any help is welcome

It would probably cause them to dry out at some point.Maybe try wrapping them with foil and tape.Would be a good barrier.

Might be able to get away with some sandpaper disks on a drill or something similar.

Just tape off everything around the caliper so shit doesn't get all over other parts.
