Paint job and window tint questions.

I found a pretty decent vehicle for sale really low kms, but of course it isn't the color I want or has window tint. So a few questions because this really interests me and I believe I may purchase it:

Where is a good place to get a paint job at (I'm in Canada BC) I heard maaco is crap because they spray right over your original paint job and don't remove the paint?

How much does it cost to get a decent paint job?

Anything I should look for in a paint job that will show it being good or bad? I just want a basic black, a little shiny, but nothing expensive.

And what do I do about my insurance papers since it will say the wrong color, does the paint job place do that for me? or will I have to go through some Bs with the insurance place?

And window tint questions:

Should I get my actual windows tinted, or just buy some cheap tint that you 'slap on'

Getting the actual windows tinted, will they use the windows I already have?(If so what would be a price on this?) Or does that not work and I have to buy windows that were created with tint?

And can I get away with any amount of tint on the front windows?(I'm pretty sure in BC the only windows that aren't allowed tint are the main front windshield and the driver and passenger, second row and back windows can all be 100% if you choose)

macco is good and cheap if you prep the work yourself. just sand the car down smooth and fill in any dents or dings with body filler and get it painted for cheap.

u can find some where theres plenty of places that will sand and paint for 250 where i live

Really? You can get a decent paint job for around 250? And they will even sand it down? How about primer or anything?

Im also interested in this cuz i got a car i wouldnt mind painting, but its not worth that much to get it painted. I just want it to look a little bit better for now. I was considering doing all the work myself, get some cheap paint and a cheap spray gun and go at it..

Whats the best way to get a car completely sanded down by yourself?

what kind of vehichle are you looking at getting?. and getting your windows tinted does not mean buying new windows that were "created "with tint, if you don't know that, then you really shouldn't be able to get a license to drive

as far as paint if you check around...you should be able to find a place to re paint it for around $250
