I was wondering, instead of payin alot for dynamat for the trunk area if i could use carpet pad, carpet, or laminate underlay. I work at a carpet factory so i can get this stuff for free and was wondering if it would work. thankz.

If your worried about spending alot on Dynamat? Look into Second Skin Damplifier its cheap and much better then Dynamat. If its your first purchase Anthony the owner will usually hook you up with 40SQ Feet for 85 bux.

QuietCar works good... I swore off asphalt based deadening a while back. Carpet underlay may help you kill rattles if you stuff it in behind stuff, and it may kill some road noise, but it won't prevent your panels from vibrating.
