you can't really laugh at his performance, he obviously wan't ready for the fight cuz he looked scared the whole time. It was like after the first round he new what he was up against, and being 36 years old has alot to do with it i'm sure. Pacman had a huge advantage, but i thought DLH would last longer. It sucks that the fight sucked

Overrated...........yes.
Still does a shit ton for the boxing world and is a good guy in the business, it's just his time to put the gloves up and stick to golden boy promotions, which is his meal ticket anymore.........hell it was before this fight. I find it funny how B-hop and Mosely were sticking up so much for him. I mean I understand to a point, but come on, get off the dudes nutz! We know Oscar has done a lot. Seems that is all they ever bring up about Oscar everytime he loses.
Dude, Oscar was in great shape and his trainers and himself have said how ready he was for the fight and he was in the best shape in his life and felt like a kid again. I watched 24/7 DLH vs Manny P on HBO and trust me, Oscar was ready, he just got beat by a better fighter, period!
Not to mention Manny P's trainer Loach or whatever his name in had it out for Oscar and wanted revenge and he put Many P through some vigorous training sessions.

how can you say oscar wasnt ready?? They both had equal time to train, btw do you know who was in his corner and the people who trained him??? Probably the most experienced guys in the biz. I dont know how pac man had a huge advantage the only thing that he has an advantage on is age. Pacman is just to good for him and probably the best in the biz in those weight classes. Now that I would like to see because like oscar, floyd couldnt handle the pressure of pac's bursts of punches and combinations and he wouldnt be able to pot shot pacman and he would actually have to fight. Again oscar needs to hang up the gloves but his reputation and popularity is what brings in the big money fights.

hate to say it but manny is to raw young in his prime and fast . very good technique along with speed. its going to take some time for that guy to lose. not to say DLH is the best but he made it look easy for pacman. i expected more from DLH but i could understand against a opponent like manny. Congrats to both .

de la hoya's career was over after he got beat by trinidad
x2 He never bounced back from that and ended up losing all of his big fights after that. IMO De La Hoya was OVERRATED since then.
