Pac Audio TR-7 Alpine bypass help!! PLease!

I do not understand the directions as sent from pac, please see below!

To whom it may concern, I am a little confused with the instructions on the TR-7 for the Alpine Monitor bypass. On the Basic Desription Of Features on page #1 it says this unit will automatically bypass the Alpines Video procedure, On the detailed Desription and Wiring page on step #2 it says that the unit will automatically bypass the video procedure after programming, then there is a note that says this feature is factory set and when wired as above no programming is necessary? Then on page #3 it shows the programming feature, what is the real deal?

Do I need to program the unit or nat as recieved as new from PAC?

all i remember having to do was wire it. no programming necessary?

I programmed mine the first time but after disconnecting and reconnecting my headunit and the pac unit from my car it still worked even though I didn't reprogram it. I'm not sure if it saved the settings or if it's already preprogrammed. Doesn't hurt to program it first just to make sure right?
