Ok not much is said on these things, but looking at power acoustik's site just to see what they're about, and i cam across this capcell thing. Kinda like that batcap, batt and cap in on combo. You can get em for like $60-$80, would they be worth a try for an already adequate electrical with slight dimming?

That or i'll try and save up for a Kinetik HC600. With a batt under the hood, and the "big two" on a stock 105 alt, could i do 2400 RMS? Thanks guys

looks like a big cap bank to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok cool. Would it be worth a try, I've only got slight dimming, I drop from 14.8 to 13.5 at the most at full tilt. Or would the HC600 be better/work for now and future?

they have pretty lights //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yay, more useless shit to tax an electrical system lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok forget that stuff. I know caps are pretty useless, and my electrical is fine for now, but i think I'll save for an HC800. I think that'll be perfect. Whats a good price on one, could I get one around $100 shipped?

Which would be better to run around 2400 RMS on, a kinetik hc800 or Powermaster D680? I'm assuming the PM due to the fact that it has a 900 amp reserve and the hc800 has 800?

You could use a battery that small for 2400W RMS, just like I could lift 6000 lbs.

Look, to power 2400W RMS you will need a group 31 battery. Anything smaller will be subjected to a much higher than designed load and will effectively shorten the lifespan of the battery. You will see a battery designed for years of use die in 6 months or less. Do you also use duct tape to fix your radiator hose?

Ok, just asking. Max I'd have on it now would be 1400, would either of those work in conjunction with my front batt and big two for now? I'm not an idiot, just asking a question, I don't need flippant answers.

Ok, so with all stated above, and about 1400 rms and 110 alt, would adding an hc800 be adequate?
No. The "800" in HC800 means 800W RMS. So if you have 1400W RMS, then you need an HC1400. Really is simple. If you want to go cheap and buy a smaller battery, expect a shorter lifespan.

I would go bigger. It would work yes but if you plan on having the system for a while and you want to listen to it loud often I would go larger for many reasons. More reserve for engine off listening, less likely to be drained from a loud listening session and being larger your system is less of a strain on the battery because it is less of a deep discharge to a larger battery than small. Less depth in discharge and recharge means overall life of the battery would be greater to much greater. What might last you a year or 3 years going small should last 4++ years going larger.
