PA A2100D..is it blown?

I have hooked it up in 2 diff cars, and the protect light stays on, and the green light pulses about every 15 seconds. No speakers on it, just power, ground, remote, and rcas.

Probably is blown.

Any signs of trouble when it was used last?

Open it up and take a look inside.

Sounds like its a bad amp. All of your wiring is good?

Take it to a local shop to get it checked out.

See if youre getting voltage out of it..........Use your DMM on the speaker terminals. or, just hook a speaker up to it- preferably a speaker you dont care about. Im not sure if a blown amp can damage a speaker or not, but Id imagine it could.

I had my subs hooked to it, but if the amp is in protect mode it wont put power out.
