p3000.1 with eclipse cd5000

I hear you can't use the massive p3000.1 with the eclipse cd5000 because it has 8v RCAs. Saying you can't use 5+volt preouts. is this true??

i dont see why not, there people using old school amp that have a max input of 2 and get away with 5. shit my amp only has 4 volt max input and im fine. u wont have to touch your gain at all, and thats a good thing
