P1000X5D or IX1000.5?

I didn't really see any product reviews for these two amps and i'm kind of just trying to get opinions. I'm aware that kicker amps are usually under rated and push more power than they say, however i'm more looking for personal/professional opinions.

I'm running Fosgate T165's in the front and T1693's in the rear and 2 MTX RT12's so either amp should be more than able to run all of those things.

I bought installed and used the RF P500XD for one day. The amp sounded powerful but it was clear that RF had not yet perfected full-range class D technology with their punch amps. I can't speak on the Power Series T800-4ad or t1000-4ad amps.

I was leaning towards that since like i said kicker under rates their amps. What ohm load are you pulling with them and have you noticed any heat issues? I live in phoenix and its a little warm here haha

8ohms bridged for the 500s and 2 ohms for the 1000. Only heat issue with the amp in the middle of the rack after playing in the sun full blast for several hours. I think it is more of power issue though.

how much power are you getting on the 8 ohm bridge and have you tried it at 4?

More power than I need, I would assume ~200 per channel. No, all my speakers are 8 ohm.

thanks, from what i saw it's a little more expensive (only $20 or so) but i'm not liking the sub channel only putting out 300w when the ix1000.5 hits 500w... nice amp though and i appreciate the tip
