This is exactly what you'd intend to accomplish by "stacking" crossovers. It reduces power to almost nothing below the crossover points. Don't run so much power if you want a more shallow slope.

Crossovers are basically EQ applied over a broad spectrum.

 
Tats why you start the first slope at 80 and then the next at 63 you're subs should play 80 on down so you can cross them at 80 you can adjust your crossover point higher and lower or separate them by a larger frequency gap to get the sound you want and still protect your speakers
