Overpower or underpower?

I have an XFL 1522 on a skar 1500 wired down to one ohm. I am thinking of getting 2 XFL 15s wired down to half ohm on that amp. SO I am getting it will give around 800 per sub for 1000w rms subs. Should I do that or just keep my single sub setup? Yes, I know more cone area and space isn't a problem.
