overpower L7's?

I was wondering if a boss RT2500D amp 1500w rms (im on a pretty tight budget) would be too much power rms wise on 2 10" L7's being that I would only need a total of 1200w rms for them. I have heard these subs can take a beating but I have no clue if an extra 150w will burn them up or be within reason especially with an amp that is probably overated. Also if it makes any difference they will be running at 2 ohms.

they will be fine - if that amp does 1500 watts RMS i would probably shit myself - id be real curious to know what it really does?
