i think im gonna do a zx850.2 ... itll give it minimum 850 watts .. but there birthsheets put them over a 1000

If you can afford the 1250.1 do it. It's always best to have a little headroom.

yea ur right .. but the birthsheet of that amp puts it way over 1400 watts or so ... thats doubling the rms of the woofer ... i just dont want to blow the crap out of it

perhaps i can do the zx1500 ... and run it at 4 ohms ... itll give it 750-800 watts or so ....

i get a good deal on kicker which is the reason why im not looking at other amps

you can always turn down the gain whenever you feel the sub is getting abused.

when giving them that much power bevery, very careful if you dont know what you are doing.

you can make the coils smell and not blow them, but they dont like much more than 1000w true RMS.
