overheating

Guys i have a problem, i have the crappy jensen amp listed in my sig, currently its in my trunk and even now, when its cold, it will only run for maybe an hour until it overheats and shuts off, and you cant even touch the thing, it gets really hot, im just wondering how i would go about making this not overheat as easily....

the amp is obviously malfunctioning. save your money and buy a quality amp, die jensen:smash: die

do you ahve your speakers wired up right what ohms is the smpeakers and what ohms can the amp go

get a couple 12volt fans on it. or better yet get a better amp.

Are you giving it proper air space to disapate the heat correctly?

If you have the gains cranked all the way you could be pushing it too much as well.

Exactly the gain is to high thats what i did with my 220W Jensen and my 2 12s the little amp is trying to hard with your gain rating mine overheats all the time im just to lazy to fix it..
