Overhaul with New Gear

I am currently running passive. The Rockford Fosgate drives subwoofer and PPI fronts and rears with a paltry 75 watts. I actually thought my right front Focal K2P Power speaker was blown. Apparently, it is not after I was tinkering around with system. Bad connection somewhere or amp is crapping out.

I was thinking about going active. I plan to replace the Alpine 9835 head unit with the new Clarion CZ702. Will replace the PPI & Rockford Fosgate with Alpine PDX V9. What do you think about the Alpine 5 Channel PDX V9? Perhaps bridge 2 channels for 200 watts to Front Focal K2P power and 500 watts to subwoofer. Clarion will drive the Focal rear coaxials.

Buy either the Soundstream Ref 4.920, Boston Acoustic GT 2200 or 2300 or Arc Audio KS300.2. Drive front K2P power with a 200+ watts from either amp and let rockford fosgate continue to power the subwoofer? Maybe keep the PPI and bridge it sub?

What combination will sound best when going active? I would streamline everything with the Alpine by getting rid of both amps. But, will it sound good?

Gents....Bump

Any experience/opinions on the amps? Soundstream, Arc, Alpine or Boston Acoustic? As I understand, the Arc is a nice amp, but, overpriced?

i like the alpine idea. but idk if the clarion has active crossovers. the v9 is a great amp if you dont need much power on the sub. active is great if you have the cross over capabilty if you dont but have timealignment ability try biamping which is basically active using the components cross overs which would need two inputs for power one for the mid and one for the tweeter. i used this method with my memphis comps with great results
