Now my question is will it run prime95 for 12hrs w/o crapping itself?

probably not, it might though, i dont feel like trying

its fan cooled

and at the moment only 2 512s gb DDR2 667 in dual channel gonna put 2 more in soon

what kind of power suply do you have running the system? 4.5ghz seems extremly high for those temps with only fans unless you have a cpu heatsink like i do, the thermalright xp120.

That's awesome! I've been trying to decide between a twin pentium dual core 2.8, or a dual amd 64 2.4, and this may have just made up my mind! You never hear of people overclocking pentiums for some reason.

Those pentiums come WAAAAY over-cooled from the factory, it's the AMD's that require a LOT of extra cooling.

I read a techy newsblog of an amd 3600+ running ~8ghz being cooled by liquid nitrogen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif People are always pushing the envelope, but that's still an incredible leap for daily use, props.

I have that and the xp90, I have the loudest fan known to man on the xp90 though....good lord. Freakin jet in my house, yes it can be heard throughout my house.
