other people demoing your shiz

All my friends are car audio newbs(could care less about hobby, though some do have systems that I installed) so I wouldn't trust them to know when my volume is maxed. If they ask permission to fiddle (change stations/song) while we're driving that's fine. Luckily I have a touchscreen that's somewhat angled towards the driver so they usually won't even bother messing with it.

My friends and family for the most part are all idiots about this stuff, but the majority of them do know my max volume is 42... thats honestly all I care about. As long as you dont **** with my HU settings or go past that volume, we're cool

I don't mind if someone asks to change the song or if they need to turn it down for their comfort, but as soon as they start twisting the volume knob to increase the volume, I pull over and politely ask them to get the fvck out of my car.

People can touch with supervision. They can't turn it up past 27 and they can't touch the settings. They can play with the iPod and pick songs, skip, turn it down, etc..., but they know that if the volume hits 28 or they touch any of my tuning that'll be the last time they touch it.

Any time somebody else drives my car, I either take my faceplate out of my car or turn the gains down a quarter turn so max volume doesn't clip. Any time it's in the shop, I keep the fuses and faceplate at my house. I don't trust people, especially after all of the work it took to install it.

majority of my friends are too afraid of mine to mess with anything. they know ive taken tons of time and have gone through lots of setup to get it how it is. They have a certain respect for what it does and I never have to worry about anyone messing with it.

If i don't trust someone around it, I always supervise if I let them near it at all. The only people I do trust to rip on it start getting uncomfortable before its up at full tilt
