I don't mind if people turn the volume up or down, or change the source, or whatever. As long as they aren't going in & changing settings in my HU or something I don't really care. Not too **** about it. Of course I'm not riding around with mongoloids that would be prone to damage anything.

Our demo truck is abused by about any one and every one. At shows I adjust everything so if you want you can sit in the truck and adjust the volume up/down to your liking with out damaging anything.

All though with that comes the people who have to try and ruin it for everyone. I have kicked several people out of the truck for being idiots and trying to "adjust" things as they see fit.

My personal vehicles...just depends on the setup really. If I know you can afford to fix what you break or have the general idea of how not to break the system then I typically don't care.

in all honesty, i've had too many bad experiences with stupid people fvcking up my vehicles.... not really on the audio side, but i've had vehicles wrecked, scratched, and even caught on fire by other individuals... never again.

The very first system I had, way back in high school. My buddy was sitting in my car for some reason and decided to rip the volume knob from 1 to a bajilion instantly and he popped my fuse. Of course being only like 16 it took me a few minutes to figure out what happened but needless to say I was pretty pissed when I thought he blew something up...once we figured out it was only a fuse we laughed about it.

I've had 2 systems one in my wife's car which is setup to take full volume without completely messing everything up.then there is the comp system that no one is allowed to touch because none of them can afford to repair or replace most of it.
