Other decks similar to 880PRS

I really like the 880PRS, I am trying to find a good deck that has TA and 3 way xovers but would also like to have USB and or an SD card reader for 880PRS money.

So far I have also found the Clarion DXZ955MC that is very similar in features but no USB either. I don't see myself copying my CD's onto the HU.

Finally I have come accross what I think might be just as good but with USB AND SD card reader. It is from an unlikely source, the JVC KD-SH1000.

It's not to blingy and is 289$ shipped from sounddomain. It seems like a pretty good deal. Any thoughts or has anyone used one?

I don't see where you can run that deck Active. but looks like it will fit your needs, go for it and then sell it and get an 880.
Maybe if I bold all of it?

my buddy has one and its alright the only thing i dont like about his jvc is when you click skip it takes a little bit before it goes to the next song but in all good brand

If anyone knows of other receivers with similar functions please post it as I am figuring out what I will be purchasing.

I am still somewhat considering the Clarion unit since it has such a nice look to it. However the JVC has what I really need.

Please post suggestions if you've got some.

Get the 880. Just hooked mine up today. Nice sound with tons of adjustability. I bought it to go active but didnt have the time for the speaker wiring part, so I just replaced the HU and ran with the external crossovers. **** near perfect HU. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

ouuu what a pickle... try out that JVC... I've only had one crap out on me but it got flooded in my car during katrina so it was to be expected. It still worked after the water went down just wouldn't play CD's anymore. I concluded the lens had a nasty film on it from that water. But I wasn't too worried about it and just tossed out the unit... go for it and give us a detailed review.

really need a detailed review of that one. one thing i dont understand though. can you really make adjustments on all 31 bands of the pEQ? if you can, then im about to go for that unit.
You can adjust any 3 of those 31 bands with the peq. You can't use both EQ and PEQ at the same time, you either choose the PEQ or the EQ.

I am having second thoughts about it though since the HPF doesn't go over 1.5khz... and that's not really high enough for a lot of tweeters.
