In a head to head test the DD got louder then the SA or the DC level 2. Im not sure about the SQ side. That is more subjective

So orphan isn't even a choose for you?

Your not going to find 2 8s that will be able to take that kind of power full tilt

I have less than 6'' of mounting depth so an sa12 won't work

Because its a low powered sub with awesome SQ. Its quite surprising really especially with a pair.

I haven't heard any of them. I just want it to be a better setup than the 4 pioneer premier shallow mount 10's sealed that I had in my silverado

Well as much as it ***** to say, they are all good subs to choose from bro. I think with a proper enclosure they will all sound good, and take their share of power. And with 2 cubes, you'd really be starving anything more than 2 subs, so, that is kinda your limit. Knowing what amplifier you currently have could help us.

I can tell you DC has been good to me. I have used level 3s and I have 4s now. They have never disapointed. Look into the DC level 2 8s

Yeah they seem good too. So now ive got it narrowed down to 4 instead of 2 brands. Ha
