i have ran onto a couple of amps and would like some info on them,,,one is an orion 225hcca, and an orion 275hcca,,,both are a redish color, and seem to be only 50 watts and 75 watts per each channel at 4 ohms,,can yall give me a lil more info on them,,,will they push more, and are they decent amps?

those are very good amps. they were some the best at the time b/c they could take on very low ohm loads. they were also cheater so they put out alot more power than stated. i had the hcca 275 and it pounded whatever i threw at it.

the 225 @1 ohm will do atleast 400 watts

the 275@ 1 ohm will do around 1200ish watts.

I've seen the 275 do upwards of 1600rwm @ 1ohm

its amazing at what they do put out! I have 3 hcca amps, 1 250 and 2 2100's.

I will be using the 2 2100's in my car, just have to order the 15"XXX.
