so i'm lookin to put a system in a 2004 corolla s, and the brand that i thought would be great for the price and value was Orion. does anybody feel the same or should i try another brand, minding my 1,800 budget. i was looking to get 1 pair of 6.5 components for front, 1 pair 6X9 for the rear, monster wiring (no exceptions) , 2 12's, and 2 amps. any feedback is greatly appreciated

I don't think you'll be able to get all that with Orions. Great performance, yes, but great value, no. DOn't be mistaken, I love Orions (I'd kill for a 275G4)m but their prices are quite steep.

There are lots of other brands available, especially three in this forum. Search the subwoofer section, and within three or four threads, you'll see what those are.

you would be suprised. i lost my estimate, but it was sort of cheap. and i cant remember the friggin model #s, but it was the higher of their qualty. I was going with their 6.5 components, 6X9 main, 800w amp to power the subs, and i cant remember the amp to power the 6.5 and 6X9. noting that this was with all monster cabel wiring, it was 1,500 to get all i wanted... is it worth it? oh yeah, i forgot, their middle class 2 12's... cant remember the friggin model # all for 1500

well, it might not be the H2, but still for 1500, it doesn't sound too bad.

btw, wire is wire, monster cable or a wire hanger will not make a diff.. just thought you might like to know. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

for speakers u wont need 2 sets of speakers. just get one nice 6.5 component set like focals or something then get a 6.5 midbasss driver for rear fill. then power em with a nice 100x4 amp or something along those lines. Make sure u have a nice deck as well because that can affect the whole system greatly. good luck peace

i've never really went with anything else but monster cable, for the rca's. i know i can use anything to power them. as for focal.... ??? heard of them, never heard them perform. anyways, my car fits 6X9 in the back, and i'm too lazy to make a brace to fit a 6.5 back there. but hey, theyre worth checking out. thanks
