since you have heard the Orions, can you tell me how well they pound out the low notes? I noticed the freq. range on the 10" is 40Hz. And the 12" is 30Hz. can you tell me how well these subs hit the low notes. I like my subs to really pound the lower notes. does the 12" get alot louder ? Would i be better off going with a 12" than a 10" ? mainly want SQ but i want the good lows. just give me your opinion on the 10" and the 12" thanks alot

well getting a 10 to sound as good low as a 12 is pretty much non existant. The P12 tuned to 28-30 htz sounds really really good, esp when sent more than enough power. They are an extremely quick woofer, and sound good as long as your box is built correctly. For the money, its hard to find anything better in that price range

Well since i will be running sealed do to space issues, how would a 12 sound in a 1 ft^3 sealed box with 450 watts? also how much lower will the 12 go than the 10? will it be very noticable?

yes it will be noticable. I would def go ported if you could squeeze it somehow, but sealed is ok
