Im putting a system in my other car its a 96 olds cutlass supream sl. i have a diamond d3 15" getting 600 rms i was thinking on replaceing the diamond with a orion hcca 12" will the orion be alot louder and hit harder than the 15" diamond?? or would i be wasting my money??????????

you might want some more power though. Is this the new HCCA or old HCCA?

the new one i heard it was like 85 pounds or so. the amp that will be powering the orion is a bmw nitro 1200 it is the amp i power my highs with the sub will be running off of a hifonics 3200 mono amp when it comes in. would that orion out do two d3 15" subs?? im trying to save money in a way. i have never heard a orion hcca in person but our local car stereo shop has one 12 hcca for 390.00 plus tax so i was just woundering. what would be better now two 15" d3's or a single 12" hcca "new model"

Two 15's have the potential to get louder than a sigle 12", more cone area. I dont like the new hcca woofers myself. There are other subs out there for the same price that will out perform that orion.
